Scientists named ways to get rid of dark thoughts

Joint research of American and Spanish psychologists led to the development of an effective way to get rid of dark and pessimistic thoughts.

Schoolchildren and students from Spain took part in the experiment and were invited to record thoughts about their own appearance and diet. In this case, one half of the experimental subjects were asked to keep records, and the other to throw them away.

Similar studies were conducted in the United States.

As it turned out, fixing dark thoughts with the subsequent destruction of records is quite capable of alleviating a person’s psychological state.

Keeping notes with positive ideas and fixed emotions helps them to remember them better even without referring to the notes.
