Scientists invented a gel that helps to eat less

British scientists in a series of experiments invented a gel that can swell, while creating a feeling of satiety.

The basic ingredients for the resulting preparation are seaweed, citrus peel and starch. These components of the gel, soaking with gastric juice swell, form a solid gel.

Scientists hope that during processing, the resulting substance can be added to regular food.

According to the study leader, the drug will be able to effectively deal with the obesity epidemic in the world.
